Adopting a Dog or Puppy

Dog adoptions are by appointment only from Monday-Thursday from 11am-3pm. Schedule an appointment to meet any dog.

Walk-in adoptions for dogs are Friday and Saturday 11am-3pm.

$50 for dogs and puppies + $19 licensing fee for Yolo County residents; adoption fee waived for veterans with valid identification.

• Spay or neuter surgery

• Microchip

• Bordetella, DHPP, and rabies vaccinations

• Flea preventative

• “Go Bag” sponsored by Friends of Yolo County Animal Services (includes leash, collar, toys, treats, and gallon bag of kibble)
